I know what's going on: On Sodor currently, There is a group consisting of Class 40, Splodge, Diesel 10, Dennis and Sodor engines such as Rosie, Bear and Derek. The group is somehow lead by a man who wants revenge on Topham and the asteroid attack gave them a chance to scrap and kill the NWR engines such as Thomas, Diesel, Molly etc. That's what I think is happening. Hope you like it.

that is 99% correct, Class 40 left the island years ago so he's not involved, splodge and D10's whereabouts are unknown, Dennis was killed off by the group and also Wilbert was a member of the group which is why he attacked Duck. The group dont want revenge they just want money and hate the Railway. The fat controller doesn't scrap the engines. Basically there is a secret group that kidnaps engines and scraps them so that they can sell the scrap for money. The fat controller has no idea about this group
