I love this video! I'm surprised I never thought of this before! But now, I think James should have been the protagonist of Sodor Dark Times instead of Gordon. Gordon can still play a major role of course, I just think James would have lead the story better than Gordon. In fact, I'm going to my own version of this AU! Edit: this comment was made before i even watched the vid. Now, as much as it still would've been cool, im happy it sticked with gordon. Imma bring actual movies into this. In the great race: Gordon couldve been the main character, yet they miss their chance bc mattel is like, oh, its got to be thomas. 🤓 James had journey beyond sodor and tale of the brave to shine. Gordon hasnt had a film for him yet. And tbh, Gordon dying in the film would've just felt so wrong. Gordon is big like alfred, and his title of being the hero of the railway rlly matches for me. This is just me though. (Yes ik sdt came before jbs and totb but still.) Great vid btw, we may disagree but hey, we all have different opinions.

I can imagine a cover of the Mario's Madness song All Stars but in this style but Thomas and Toby being swapped. Roles would probably be: James as BF Thomas as GF Alfred as Ultra M Crovan as Omega Geoffrey as LG Alfred's friend with the bombs as W4R Wilson (green engine from Edward's Day Out) as Y0SH

@@carlmatthews8338 Or maybe you could do what I did. Maybe have Gordon and James both find out about Alfred’s plot. Then, Gordon falls ill, so James and Alfred take over the express. However, Gordon later gets better and gets the bombs out of Knapford, sacrificing himself to save Thomas, Percy and Edward

I think that if James was the hero of Sodor Dark Times, the role of Alfred's friend who put the bombs at Knapford would go to Crovan. He could even be 87546 from Edward's Day Out!

Thinking about it, this is one of the stories where alfred's origins came in as a enemy tender engine with a legacy that rivals timothy the ghost engine. The good news is there's a new Sodor Dark Times Collaboration series is out by Trainz4days with aid from Victor Tanzig.

Honestly I would of liked for James to be the main character and Gordon to be a secondary main character and Toby is just there. So basically James and Gordon both feel the same way about Alfred and then at knaford sheds they both decide to sleep there and before they do hear Alfred talking to another engine then next morning gordon is feeling il then goes to the works to get repaired and James and Alfred double head the express then James exposes Alfred then everything is the same Alfred derails James then they put James back on track and the James chases Alfred then Gordon gets better and both them speed to Knaford but it’s to late the bombs go off and by the time Gordon and James get there it’s to late and ending well it’s hard to decide who to kill off Like who should die as the hero James or Gordon?

Strangely enough Alfred's Friend that puts the vans in Knapford is the same class as Geoffrey so you can have him be Geoffrey if you wanted Or maybe Geoffrey is like Alfred who got sent away from Sodor aswell Idk It's a great idea though!:)

If I do rewrite of this Thomas Edward Percy doesn't die. Edward will be working with bill and Ben Percy working with Mavis Thomas on his brass line. This story with focus on James and duck. Gordon take the Express James will tell him what Alfred going to do his family he doesn't believe him as first then duck and Toby Oliver Donald Douglas tell him they heard. How Oliver Douglas and Donald know duck told them. They find Daisy in her shed and her track have miss and there is a bomb by her shed next the station. They get her out and escape. There other will die Nia and Rebecca. Someone faceless train. And other from the book and tv show.
