The cavalcade was splitting up again. Percy and Emily stayed behind along with Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta and Toad because Percy was too scared and Emily had run out of coal. Since Henry, Gordon and Murdoch were the three strongest they would take the lead followed by Arthur and Edward. Thomas, Toby, Molly, Neville, Donald and Douglas will follow close behind. As the engines made their way to Crovan’s Gate they were horrified by the sight of the body of Skarloey. The engines all felt dreadfully sorry for the poor little engine and continued on. At the sheds the other narrow gauge engines were still devastated by the loss of their friend when the standard gauge engines arrived. All were shocked and delighted to see each other. Meanwhile and Elsbridge Yards Duck was shunting some tankers together for his big plan, he saw some dynamite vans and decided to take them as well. He coupled them all together and charged down the main line. To be continued……..
