Sodor Fallout: Trying to scream (read the description)

some of you might remember back in April when i uploaded on henry's survival, there was the part when gordon went by when he was "trying to scream" i decided to make a small remastered scene of it, but only the scene when gordon went pass henry. anyway, this video was inspired by UPfan6430 and other users for the canon series of sodor fallout.

One thing that’s been on my mind is “why doesn’t Gordon just stop?”

He technically can’t stop. If he’s been running at full speed like this since the explosion and he has no crew, if he stops then the built up steam in his boiler would cause him to explode within a matter of minutes due to the damage his boiler has sustained as a result of his mutation. So he’s technically forced to keep speeding down the line with no other choice

The crew and passengers are likely dead. Those who are screaming well... lets not wonder what happened to them

Without someone or something supplying coal for the firebox, the fire will eventually burn out and the heat can no longer supply the boiler with steam thus forcing Gordon to slow down and eventually stop. Please keep in mind that boiler explosions are normally cause by a lack of water being injected into the boiler, not the fire box cooling off. plus Gordon (along with every vehicle that exists and will exists) is designed to not explode when idle, but as the op states this might change due to mutation so In a way we're both right from a logical stand point.
