Can't say I'm surprised with the guiltiness that's going on between everyone at the moment. It's going to be a long road of recovery I can tell, especially with Percy the most. The quote that Donald says "I heard he's been a little... upset lately" and Derek saying "That may be putting it lightly" makes me feel like Percy is in a really bad state of grief over what happened with Thomas and as someone that lost a mutual friend and a pet I can feel that.. Griefing is completely terrible to go through, especially if it's someone very close. The closer, the more horrible it hits. I can definitely believe Percy is in that really horrible stage. Sounds like Derek has a lot of therapy support to do for the poor green engine. It's nice to see Donald apologizing to Rob about accusing him for the crimes that Sean did. Interesting lore to know that Rob knew about the events of the crash and how more troubled Sean was after seeing the body of his mother. Dang. And that he also punched Rob, no wonder why he cut him off. Though I still don't blame him for being guilty for not helping him more but Derek is right that Rob did the right thing. Interesting start so far. I do hope that the episode will be 15 minutes or more though. The fact a lot of the episodes were under that mark and the pacing was too rushed really made last season to be not as great. If it is under 15 minutes though then I only hope the pacing isn't going to be too fast or too slow. I also hope we don't get a lot of exposition too because keeping up with the lore can get too much. Looking forward to seeing episode 1 of Season 6!

Something I've always liked about Stories of Sodor is just how meaty and full of substance the episodes are. Season 5 is a step down in this regard. I'm not saying Victor should stretch out episodes; I'm saying that when he goes all out with his ideas, he naturally fills his episodes with so much content. I remember when "Closure" was the shortest episode and yet it feels like the longest because so much happens in it, and it's a great adaptation of RWS/T&F events into this universe. This episode appears to be the same length as Closure, so it looks like it's going to be a return to form.

Probably will be to the extent of "People keep coming to the branchline, and keep asking where Thomas is since the Farquhar Branch was heavily commercialized as being Thomas's Branchline. This caused Percy to not be able to really think and process Thomas's death. Every time someone mentions him, he resets, and he starts getting irritated, as he thinks they are being insensitive on purpose."

The reason why I haven’t even given my own predictions like the rest of you guys is simple…..I don’t have much of an opinion on this however I will list things I personally would love from this episode: -More of Robert Haul, Derek and Donald together -Percy obviously being sad or possibly enraged at Benson for Thomas‘ death (I have to rewatch Fallout so I can remember if that Percy blames Thomas‘ death on Benson thing was concluded or not) and possibly going to be the spotlight character for this episode -Not just Percy but Edward and Toby (and most likely Kate) also feel guilt for what happened to Thomas given they built the E&K Railway together and during recovery Toby can say something along the lines of „this reminds me of the troop train incident“ and we actually find out what that was (or save it for another episode IDK) -Not only Thomas but also the main line and Midi chaps also are deeply affected by the deaths of Peter, Geoffrey, Mr. Zorro and especially Mickey. -Francis starts changing for the better given the faces of actually showing guilt when he heard of Peter‘s death and when he took Thomas to Barry Island, maybe a brief moment where the main line engines are prepared for some boasting from him or whatever only for him to say nothing and perhaps make it a full season spanning arc for Francis until the end where…….well up to you guys I guess? -A few others I can’t think of right now for this episode This is all I have for this one
