Sodor's Little Railways - Little Railway Adventure

Skarloey, the Little Old Engine, is worn and tired. His owner, Sir Handel Brown, has kindly sent him to the works in England to be mended. However, before his journey away, Skarloey wanted a chance to say goodbye to his friends - little did he know what an adventure he would have!
This video, much like the preservation of the Talyllyn, faced a handful of poorly timed setbacks and hurdles to overcome. Nevertheless, here it is!

And of course, where would a good story be without its Storyteller? The talented Luke Ryan was surely the most suitable option for this tale, and he did not disappoint in the slightest! Luke works closely with the Talyllyn Railway in Tywyn, North Wales, where this story was inspired by. Without his support and wonderful narration, this episode wouldn't have been possible. Finally, credit is due to L.T.C. Rolt, the Author of 'Railway Adventure', which describes the first two years of preservation of the Talyllyn Railway in the early fifties. The events enclosed are the same which inspired the Rev.W.Awdry's Skarloey Railway in his famous 'The Railway Series' books. Both of these, of course, heavily inspired this story.
