Peter Sam was red in the books. The redone paint(Rheneas orange, Sir Handel blue, Peter Sam green, and Duncan yellow) in the TV series was simply to help viewers distinguish between engines. The general Skarloey Railway livery is red with blue lining, and in some of the later paintings in the books gold lining is added.

@@rockyfanatic6846 it’s probably that Barry was modeled onto the flatbed, meaning that if you spawn the flatbed in Barry will automatically be on it because Barry’s a part of the flatbed (in the files). For the scenes when Barry was running, they have different models for each of Barry’s states and faces; rusted, testing times, and service.
