@@imanejaz5403 he was already in love with her back then; he just wasn’t aware of it. All he did know at this Time was : love hurts and she’ll suffer if she stay next to him cause he does know she loves him (in fact her love was balantly showing). What he didn’t seen is even when he was about to die he’s first thoughts were for her well being (he asked to bring him his clothes so she wouldn’t notice anything). He didn’t noticed that when he was sad he looked after her. He always had a soft spot for her cause she was the only one who look at him this way; then he became his protector and he fell before he even understood that he was the one craving for her light.

@@imanejaz5403he was conflicted about his Feelings for Hee Jae. He thought he gave his heart to her, even though she rejected him and was in love with Hwi. I don’t think even he knew when he started to fall in love with her, maybe when he learned his father ordered his men to kill Hwi and Yuen is when the light bulb went off in his head and he realized it was passionate love he felt for her
