I saw them twice at Wacken 2022, once on the Headbangers stage, and then in Wacken itself, in a tiny pub. Just Soen on stage and 60 people. It was a night full of magic. Everyone sang, there was electricity in the air. The girl I met there even started crying. Thank you Soen for the wonderful experience, I will never forget it.

From time to time, I get in a mood that I call "Opeth - Damnation" mood but I don't necessarily want to listen to that particular album and I have been searching for a while now other bands that would fit that bill and now I have! Well, Martin Lopez, Soen's drummer, used to play for Opeth from 1997 to 2006. One of the best drummers in the world in my opinion, and this might explain the Opeth vibes you get from Soen.

Absolutely beautiful. I found Soen this summer and will be seeing them in Denver. This is a beautifully somber song. I've always loved bands that play their emotions rather than trying to be harder, heavier, and the most brutal. Life isn't always extreme highs or lows. Sometimes you need calm and reflection. This was wonderfully executed.
