Please please do a sequel to Purple Hearts. My husband was in the military when we first got married and this so reminds me of the first year of our married life, emotions all over the place but the goodbyes were the worst but the welcome homes were the best. Thank you Sofia and Nick for such a heart touching story and I love the part after the ending. ❤️

@@penn4932 I can’t answer for the original commenter but mine is 😅. He’s still active duty, and I got extremely sick.. ovarian cancer and endometriosis and he’d sleep in the hospital on a chair when I was admitted.. their story reminds me a lot of mine, even though we didn’t get married for the same reasons luke and Cassie did, we did get married FAST (we’ve known each other since we were 8, we’re 33 and 35 now..started dating June 2015 and married January 2016, engaged for one week because we found out I was pregnant, then I had a miscarriage two weeks later) but there’s very hard moments in a marriage like this. You’re always waiting for something to happen.. worrying another war is coming, him being sent away, etc. it’s a very intense lifestyle. Isolating sometimes too

It's the character chemistry of the main characters. They represent current conflict not just politically but conflict that arises from different social backgrounds. Different male female perspectives. It's represents what marriage looks like when two people are opposites. There's conflict and resolution and that pattern continues for teach to be able to care about each other. When one person stops caring, the marriage ends. The songs are like frosting on a cake. It's a different lens and perspective to understand Cassie's struggles and growth and maturity. When they write a sequel to Purple Hearts, Cassie and Luke need to sing a duet. I'll help you write the sequel. So much of this film is a reflection of my life. Anyway, love the movie!

Yes definitely. I think this film has done what no other film currently has done. It wasn’t afraid to talk about the current state of the U.S.These two fell madly in love with each other putting their differences aside. Makes me have faith in the film industry.

The interviewer was great! Sofia is always a class act, that’s sooo refreshing these days especially when everybody is pushing sexuality! I loved that they had a female director and all the love scenes were told in a classy way! Not all of us want to see overly sexualized films and I know I can count on Sofia to always act in classy films!

The first time I saw Purple Hearts I fell in love with the immediate chemistry between Cassie and Luke it was so awesome I watched it 4 times in 2 days no joke and the music was so amazing and singing and making my own music even if it not very good. I still love it and just like Cassie in the film music is my everything if I couldn’t sing ever again I would cry , love Purple Hearts

Love everything about her from her music, to her acting, to her generous heart, to her pure beauty, uh, I LOVE HER TO PIECES!!! I just can’t get enough of this captivating person I adore so much. My forever wish until it truly happens is to get to meet her and get to spend like 24 hours with her. Getting too would really make my day. Let's be honest he fell for her from the beginning but she being so defensive and bitchie made him think twice, she on the other hand as soon as the things went bad after he got injured, she tried to run away from the entire situation, when she saw him at the hospital she was like no, no I didn't sing for this, I need the divorce right now, he even had to explain how serious the situation was to make her act like an adult ( the point is you don't abandon the people you love when they need you the most) being honest most of time she acted like an immature, selfish, gold digger 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
