I find it so interesting how vastly different preferences can be. I, for one, love that the shades are all similar for the Sephora Favorites lippies because I only wear that specific shade. I do acknowledge that that won’t work for a lot of people so I do wish that they had color options for the sets. I also love the Summer Fridays lip balms and for me, they are the best in the market for my chronically chapped lips. I still do respect your opinions and will continue to enjoy watching your videos. ❤

I agree with everything you said except that hourglass brush set. I LOVE BK BEAUTY. I have 3 sets of EACH brush because that's how much i loved their brush!( also I hate washing) BUT, YOU GUYSSSS, that hourglass foundation brush is SOMETHING ELSE! The HG concealer brush also blew my mind- definitely better than the bk concealer brush- which is also amazing tbh. But I'm NOT LYING YALL that HG foundation brush is MAGIC!! And I have many other brushes too like from tarte buffer to the saie brushes but idk what it is in that brush- I even use it for my concealer and contour cause why bother with any other brush- it's THAT good! Tbh, I haven't tried this gold version of the set, but if it's like the original, it's worth it 1000%

I love the Kosas mini 3 blush set so much. I own so many blushes and none have hit pan and these baked blushes I’ve been using nonstop and they hardly look used. The baked formula dont kick up and this formula lasts forever. If you love Hourglass as I do these will be a favorite too. ❤

I was considering the Saie mini dew blush trio but now it’s sold out 🤪 For holiday scents I HIGHLY recommend Jo Malone’s Ginger Biscuit & Orange Bitters travel duo. Soooo delicious paired together 🥰 I love the colors of the highlighter and cheek sticks in that WA set! Always appreciate your critical reviews Sofia 🥰

I bought the Summer Fridays mini set before the sale and love it. I’ve been using them daily for a few weeks, and haven’t used them up yet. My nephew LOVES these lip balms, so he’s getting that mini-set as part of his Xmas gift during the sale. Perfect for a little stocking stuffer or people who like some skincare but don’t want color necessarily.

I was at my crappy Kohl's Sephora and I saw the summer Fridays lip set girl those things are micro mini they shrunk them they aren't worth it definitely mostly the tiny packaging and air they just put the testers out while i was there so i no . I wanted the Kosas set but swatched them and they all are to light for my tan skin and look ashy. The Denessa Myricks set was definitely worth it all around for me. I have a few others I'm going to purchase like the BB face base love it and I'm out so that's a good deal with the sale for me. I really want the Westman set but I'm not super in love with that hot pink shade and wish it was the red bichette or garcone those are the 2 i want besides meme. I have a few hair sets in cart to . Macy's is having a sale they have some good sets too and they are having 15% off and some stuff like Tom Ford is like 30% off the new quad terra bronzer and lip gloss set is even a better deal then Sephora

I passed on Drunk elephant too! I have been collecting for the past 3 to 4 years and this year I skimped out because the suitcase does not look cute or worthy of the high price!

I would recommend the westman atelier lipstick set, but *only* if you really like the lip formula - the formula is very very unique, and nothing like what is on the market, and I can see why people might not like it - it is absolutely beautiful formula, moisturizing, and so pigmented, yet somewhat sheer-like too - like the formula has strong pigment but does not rely on the thickness of application to deliver this color (hard to explain) - it is very slippy and seems like it will slip away until it sets a little, but it is easy to apply and stays on better than initially it would seems (still a bit slippy for the first hour) - it is also very heavily made with coco-butter - some people find coco-butter to be drying so there’s that - sometimes for some formulas, it’s drying for me (I have no idea why), but not in this case for me - also, real coco-butter has a very strong scent and taste - like chocolate - I used to hated it, but I use it as a moisturizer and got used to it - the lipstick formula feels like 1/2 cocobutter and 1/2 waxes … if anyone is familiar with coco butter;it is very very melty and slippy … and pigment is max (though there are lighter colors especially in this set) So I would only recommend the set if you have already tried the lipstick, bc 3 lippies are a huge investment for a very different and somewhat odd formula that is either going to be a love/hate for sure - 2 colors are new and only in the set, and they are gorgeous - one color is one of their basic colors, which is easy to wear - and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous and also super unique, innovative, luxury to the max I do wish the sets gave some discount … but also, WA is too bougie - but WA entices with limited new colors and gorgeous new packaging - however, if you love these lippies and already bought all her colors, these new colors are not far different from some of the old ones… none of the colors are super unique anyway … it just the formula that’s super unique - that may be a *no* for some people who have a lot of lipsticks I do absolutely agree that any of the blush sets are an easier buy bc I think everyone would love the blush formula - the lipsticks are a definite unique and niche purchase - imo 😊- sorry for long comment -- I’ve been into formulas lately and comparison 😅 - I love to dig deep into why, how, and what

@ oh my goodness… gritty?! That’s super crazy - must be a qc issue - mine were so wonderful - gritty is horrible 😥 - I had a similar issue w the jones road WTF - I think the heat in the summer I ordered it messed up the formula, and it got gritty - the WA lipsticks *feel* like they might have similar-like emollients that could go wrong - imo, I have no idea - I ordered the Wtf in summer and the WA during cooler days, so maybe I lucked out - but I’m still upset about my gritty wtf and I can’t ever try again, even though I wish mine had just not had the hardened particles 🫣 - well, I’ll keep you in mind if I ever get a weird gritty lippie from WA- Thank you for the heads up ☺️

I bought WA mini blush set and a hair set from Amika along with their nourishing mask in the biggest size. I adore this mask. Hoped for a nice set from Kerastase but on their original website variety is much better

I got the merit lipstick set and blush set too, it's very nice. I wanted the westman cheek set, but it's sold out online on sephora canada. The sephora aren't great, but if you have 2-3 in there that you like, it's worth it and the bag got me too, too cute.

LOLOLO - I didn’t realize they were that small- I can just see me getting this and laughing with broke tears when these teeny tiny bottles showed up - I was even looking at this - whoo, saved 😅 - it’s super easy to buy samples from other sites - not in cute doll sized bottles, but still….

I love the style of this video. I have found that the Sephora gift sets are generally not worth it for me. There are usually only 2 or 3 products that I want and they rest of them just go into my Posh beauty bundles. I'd rather just buy one product that I really want even if it is not a good deal. I want those Kosas blushes. I hope they restock them. I generally don't like the Sephora blushes - find that they shed a lot. I'd rather buy Rephr or Sonia G and buy better but fewer brushes. I also prefer natural hair brushes as I find that they pick up product easier. I prefer the Chanel gift boxes over Dior even though they are expensive. Chanel gives you a really nice cosmetic bag. I am going to buy the Jo Malone set based on your recommendation. I had been wanting to try some of the scents in this collection and this is a good opportunity to try them.

In the past, brands used their sets to promote the brand to customers so they normally were attractive in content and price. They use to put minimum 1+ full size best seller, 1+ full size new product, samples and a nice box/bag. The price would be the price of the normal size products, samples and bag were a treat. Today, I do think they use the sets to both get rid of inventory and improve their margin before the year ends. They build these sets as cheap as possible and charge ridiculous prices because they know that people use these kits as Christmas presents. I see this as a direct attack to customers intelligence but if people keep on buying they will do it again. If the products are like half size of the original, in desirable shades and they charge a fair price, I do not mind but that is not what I saw. It is a pity that the Westman atelier set does not have 1 bronzer+1 highlighter + blush instead of 3 blushes. Drunk elephant I stopped buying when they came with the cooler. Nothing against the suitcase is the price for what comes inside that bothers me. The Sephora sets, I will not even bother to comment…
