I have been looking at the Olight warrior X to to have a striking option when dogs come at me or my kids while we are walking but for the price I cannot think of many that can handle the elements like this light. + on low it can light up a whole room easily for the times there are power outages.

I have the same flashlight. The switch on wheel is getting stuck very bad while trying to operate it. Any idea how to loosen/ lubricate it? It’s less than a year used and I think the sand particles that go in are making it difficult to turn.

@GearSub Expeditions I have two SD05 and I've never experienced a sticking ring on either of them. Did you make sure you always rinsed it thoroughly after diving in salty water? It's possible for the salty krystals to form, blocking the ring, if not rinsed thoroughly. Soaking the light in fresh water should get rid of the krystals. If you were always rinsing it, then it sounds like you were unfortunate enough to get a lemon. I would contact the seller about replacing it first before contacting Sofirn. The seller is responsible for servicing/replacing the lamp for a while, most likely for a year.

Bro, use oil to lubricate push the oil using air so that it will go inside and slowly turn the switch on and off.

Hi friend, may I know the brand of the 21700 battery you are using for this flashlight? I'm using the Sofirn 21700 battery that comes with the package and flashlight got heated up really fast even in medium mode. I don't have any heat issues when I use my 18650 Nitecore battery. I have many sir. Sofirn 21700 4800mah, shockli purple 4500 mah. 18659 is less powerful sir. Actually this flashlight is for diving so no heat problem when in water. I think it's not the battery issue. It may be about the driver. Normally medium should not be too hot. Maybe you should ask the manufacturer. Thanks for watching sir. Please subscribe 😊🙏.

It's quite hard to answer sir. If you like modification, go to Convoy. If you want affordable + complete flashlight that comes with usb c, battery, accessories, etc, go to Sofirn. In terms of worthiness, I think Sofirn is better. Thanks for watching sir 😊🙏.

The 21700 battery doesnt work with this flash light it’s false advertising. I got that battery and although it goes inside but the back cover does not close because the battery is too large. The only battery that works for this is 18650.
