Hard cover journals are lovely but there's just something really special about soft cover books. These look absolutely darling.

You know who made amazing softcovers? Ira at Meditative Scrapbooking. She used old cozy sweaters and tablecloths then embroidered on it etc. Hasn’t uploaded in a while but years of amazing videos.

Hi Johanna, I love your journals. I love how you use fabric and doilies. I do embroidery. I have several old pieces. I have one that my grandmother embroider and it is over 100 years old. I have several others. I embroider pillowcases, tea towels and I have done doilies and dresser scarves. Thank you for sharing these treasured pieces. I love all that you do.
