Indeed - every pop act nowadays seems to be compartmentalised into some little marketing demographic box and to have all the life groomed out of it! And whilst openly gay artists are everywhere now, they're styled by their record labels to look acceptable to grannies in the suburbs.

I was about 20 when this song was out. They were on the pulse of the early eighties. If you can't relate to this song, you may be soulless🤔 l just read the lyrics after all these years, brought me to tears, mostly because of my kids and the struggle they're having finding truth and meaning in these perilous times. So much deception and fruitless ambition all around. There's tons of knowledge, very little wisdom

@@LFOVCF Very few indeed. I used to have one at home around 1998-2018 and no-one who came in apart from one of my mates ever looked and remarked about it. It's truly a pig ignorant age we live in. @@mbrady2329 It sounds like a joke but that was a huge trend, a lot of kids got super into obscure, often local soundcloud rappers. no record labels, no big stages, no nothing. i remember the guys with soundcloud in hs promoting their music and collaborating with other local rappers. Their music was actually good! Talented guys. Anyways... if this doesnt sound like underground music then i dont know what is.
