I remember convincing a DJ to play Sex Dwarf at a large club we were at back in the very early 80's, reassuring him that it would be a floor filler. He put it on much to our surprise, the shocked faces on those already up dancing lol, you've never seen a dance floor clear as quickly in your life. Only me and a couple of friends were left up dancing. We loved it. :D.

Believe it or not, it was similar with me and U2 in ‘82 begging the DJ to play them, insisting they would be HUGE, but the DJ thought we were nuts. I guess by the time Soft Cell came around, I was certifiable.

Paul Boulter haven"t got it on cassette, got it on vinyl ,34 years old still a brilliant album. teens today should be made to listen to it ,on the school curriculum. we had a music teacher who let us bring albums in to discuss why we liked that album, and share it with the rest of the class(this was 1981 though)
