So. I used to listen to guided sleep hypnosis... because I can never sleep. Ever. (It's 2 am now, and here we are). I discovered ASMR probably 3 -4 months ago, which I prefer. It's something about the slow breathing and whispering. Tom's voice is both soothing, and somehow makes me feel safe while falling asleep. Almost cradled... That being said, my husband bought me new headphones for Christmas... They're my first pair of wireless (over the ear) headphones. This is also my first pair that has a noise cancelling feature, which is a little disorienting. So tonight, I needed to get up for a moment, and I thought HEY, I can just walk around with these on and still listen. Soft breathing. Getting sleepy... can't hear a single thing going on outside of the headphones... and then I tripped over the cat in the hallway. So. PSA, or something. Tom + noise canceling, wireless headphones require that you pay more attention when you're walking around. Because a cat WILL trip you... and being a cat, she doesn't even care. In fact, she'll blame you for it and demand to be given cat food for her inconvenience.

This might be a weird comment but I really appreciate that Tom has normal skin. Not breaking out in excess, not blemish or pore free.I watch a lot of asmrtists and youtubers that use skin blurring filters and it makes me feel not normal for not having flawless skin. But this channel always reminds me that real people with real skin exist and that calms me almost as much as the asmr!
