@@fragboxcorals how do we get a free T-shirt :) Lovely video btw, Its surprising how many questions I'm asked just while looking at fish, or coral at the LFS. The fist question is always how hard it is compared to Fresh water. Lots of people are overwhelmed when they're looking at all those pretty stony corals, that require so much more than your average softy!

Why does your lids have mesh and not just a full piece of polycarbonate sheet. Does it reduce par that much even if clean?
@jason55842 жыл бұрын
Mesh helps a lot with gas exchange but also a solid sheet of glass or polycarbonate will trap moisture and create water drops which can scatter light and cause diffraction.

As soft/lps/sps are just hobby categories rather scientific theres quite a few species that are hard to put a label on like Pavona, Galaxea, Turbinarians, Hynophoranss, etc, which some ppl call LPS & others SPS. Personally I kinda put Gorgonias into their own category like sponges but theres no real written in stone rules & I'm certainly not an authority on the matter 😅

@michaelross56742 жыл бұрын
Yes I would care about a bigger jail cell ......bad enough when you're in jail your living in a bathroom... So bigger is better..... Guess that a hard comparison.... because when we add human emotions in with animals it doesn't work just like ball pythons I breed I use a rack system because ball pythons feel comfortable in small dark spaces ... But with human emotions involved they want plants logs and huge tanks .... But it stresses the snake out .... I rather have a snake in a tub doing good instead of stressed and not thriving because I can't see into the tank
