Pamela Jane , we have three working fireplaces in our home and when we burn logs they usually make a loud popping and cracking sound. The logs in this video sound like logs that are not seasoned with moisture in them. Just saying

I agree. Most crackling fireplace videos are not relaxing due to overly loud snaps. My fireplace never cracks and snaps that loud. The mics must be set up too close or something.

This fire is very soft and soothing and calming and relaxing. Very nice! I'm relaxing with it in the daytime cause it's still winter and cold outside and I'm drinking my coffee and having lunch with it to the soothing burning sound like I got my own real fireplace.

I listened to hundreds of different fire sounds on youtube and a sound effects websites in the search for the perfect fire sound! This fire sound was the best match to my fancy artificial fireplace (Opti-myst). The sound is very high quality, realistic and consistent.On top of that it is free of the fire noise bugs such as the whoosh air noise and the annoying wood popping sounds. Absolute Perfection! I converted it to an MP3 file and now have it playing during every romantic candle light dinner I cook for my girlfriend along with some nice jazz music in the background. Romantic atmosphere Master Level achieved! Much thanks for this fantastic relaxing and romantic sound 👍👍👍

I love this one because it’s gentle, not loud popping like the others I have found. I do wish this video was 10 instead of 4 just because I have a fear of It turning off in the middle of night and I do wake up when my video shuts off & then I struggle sometimes to go back to sleep. I use fire videos all night long until sunlight because I like the noise, I don’t like the eerie quiet & It helps me sleep. So 10hrs of this gentle fire would be nice!
