How does Hakari Kinji's domain expansion work? I'm glad you asked. Hakari's domain works like a Japenese Pachinko machine, to understand his domain you first need a basic understanding of pachinko. So what is Pachinko? Pachinko is basically a popular slot machine game in Japan, gambling is forbidden in Japan so this is their version of a slot Machine. Hakari uses this as a BASIS for his domain, so in reality it won't play out like this. Pachinko machines usually have themes. Hakari is able to choose the theme of his domain he chose a romance shoujo as the gambling content. You get introduced to 7 characters each of which having a number, the goal is to get 3 of the same character in a row to hit a jackpot. When Hakari hits jackpot he gains a random boost that's not known to him. Pachinko has a REACH mode, and Hakari does as well. In the actual Pachinko, if you roll 2 of the same numbers (i.e: 4 and 4) and one number differs, you get a chance to reroll and get 3 of the same numbers; which will result in a jackpot. Hakari DE is different, you have 3 preview performances which are Balls, shutters, Psuedo-spins. 3 Colored Balls, green means low chance of a jackpot and gold means big chance of a jackpot. Green > Red > Gold, Same rules apply with the shutters (train doors if you’re confused.) When there's a fourth try then that means a guaranteed Jackpot (think of it like pity in Gacha games.) The balls and shutters should function as an “attack” but the true purpose is to see what type of performance scenario will occur. Reach Scenarios, Similar to how different pull animations on Gacha games give a higher rarity of character, the REACH action also has scenario’s tied to its hype. The scenario with more than 3 stars means there’s a 80% chance of a Jackpot. basically they’re cut scenes that have a probability tied to them, the chance of a jackpot with a low hype cut scene is LOW, and it goes UP depending on the hype tied to the cut scene. CHANCE UP, Even if there’s a scenario playing with low probabilities, once one of the chance up scenes come to play the chance of a jackpot goes up, its a guaranteed jackpot with the last scene mentioned: group preview. So no matter what low probability cut scene is playing, the chance of a jackpot goes up with the chance up, the group preview scene gives you a guaranteed jackpot. BONUS, Hakari gains a bonus from each Jackpot which he can stack, the bonuses are like the prize for winning the jackpot and what the reward will be is unknown to everyone including Hakari. But the bonuses he stacks are what makes him dangerous, think for example of boost rewards: Damage Multiplier, CE Boost, Damage Nullification and go on. GAME FLOW: Hakari starts at the regular stage and you go back to the regular stage until he hits a jackpot. This means you’re stuck in a loop and the Domain doesn’t end until you beat him or you lose. PROBABILITY CHANGE Once he hits a Jackpot for the next play he either gets a probability change which results in a scenario that will only result in another Jackpot or Time Reduction. The Probability change looks like a scenario that has a 75% chance of becoming a factor after the Jackpot is hit. According to the game flow, the probability change results in another jackpot, this could be chained resulting in Hakari gaining bonus after bonus (thus being on a roll) it's short for kakuritsu hendou, which is 'probability shift' as translated in the chapter. basically, when you hit a jackpot in pachinko, there's a chance it'll shift the rates so it's more likely that you hit more jackpots after that. so once you hit one jackpot, you can chain jackpots in short order and get a really big payout. that's also the whole jackpot fever concept, too. TIME REDUCTION 'jitan' is 'time-reduction,' but that doesn't really describe what it does, lol. basically in pachinko, you get a spin every time the ball goes in. if your jackpot doesn't trigger probability shift (kakuhen), it can trigger time-reduction (jitan), where the slot for balls gets wider and more balls can go in. since more balls go in, you get more spins, so they shorten the animation time on the spin to fit them in. thus, time reduction. Once he hits Jackpot, there’s a 75% chance of probability shift that leads to another jackpot instantly. Hakari’s Domain is extremely powerful in potential. Charles mentions how you’re stuck in a loop and can’t attack until the performance is done playing. You have two choices: get overwhelmed or try to beat him when performance ends. Hakari can attack Charles during performances but it looks like Charles can’t hit back, only defend. LUCK Hakari’s DE is dangerous because it capitalizes on his skill of being lucky. Everything is in his favor and the bonuses look like rewards that’ll make him even more of a threat. Being lucky is a skill and Hakari has possesses this. There’s no need to everyone needs things to help them sleep I honestly doubt there’s many people that don’t it’s just that the methods used are different, some people watch KZbin videos and fall asleep to the noise others sit on apps like tiktok, some need drugs to relax themselves enough to sleep and some need to literally hug pillows like they’re holding a person if they havnt got a partner to hold as is and the list goes on. We are social creatures and for some people especially if you have some funny mental fuck shit need that comfort we get when hearing another persons voice to reassure and relax us a little and allow us to actually fall asleep but something like a normal video would be to distracting and as such you end up on asmr whether it be rp audios like these or more traditional audios it all follows th e same concept that silence is deafening and we need background noise to sleep and it just so happens that because a lot of the options would distract us what ends up working is audios like these because they all have a similar principle which is that they play on our interests and desires, they comfort us and they reassure the ideas that we are worth something, they praise us where maybe people in our actual lives fail to do so and for some people that are more shy it might jsut be that but if human interaction and compliments that can help them feel a little more confidence. Whatever the reason that we watch them and like them they help and that’s all that matters really because without them thousands of people would struggle greatly to fall asleep and would likely end up turning to substitutes like drugs and medicine if they can afford it or just wouldn’t be able to sleep
