They literally gone through Hong Kong Cantopop in the year of 1992/93, naming some of the pop singers (some famous, and some not so famous) within just over 3 ½ minutes of song. Rapping more than half of this song track is quite impressive. Rapping wasn't really a thing in Cantopop. Soft Hard were definitely one of the pioneers in this category of Cantopop. Kudos to them. 😉👌

Can you tell me a bit more what the song is about (or post the lyrics)? I don't speak Cantonese, but, really like the sound and it's vibe. Would love to have at least lyrics translated into English.

@@Aesthetporium I can't go through the lyrics word by word, because of how many words per minute these guys can sing. Over 120 words per minute, if I'm exaggerating. Close enough. They go through at least 30 names of Cantopop singers. Basically it's about the singers (appearing on music tv shows and variety shows for TVB) and their crazy supporters shouting, blowing their whistles, fan support banners for their favourite singers (they sit in groups, some sing along with their singers during their live performances and some are very rowdy and obnoxious), using bright laser pens in tv shows and concerts. There's dialogue from a few singers like Andy Lau saying "I don't know what more I say", another shouting back to their fans to thank for their support - "Thank you! Thank you!" I'll go through the extensive list of names later......

@@angelswings7024 Alright, thank you! That makes it a bit more clearer. I've been going back to this song (and some of their other work) regularly. Found out about SoftHard throught their appearance in Jackie Chan's 1993 City Hunter (Sing si lip yan) movie where they performed Lao Ren Yuan song.
