This colonised construction of madness is oriented towards belittling, dismissing and silencing the weaponisation of the colonised people's challenge to coloniality. I am thrilled that a work like this bestows the respectability of Bedward! Well done Dr. Gosse!

Congratulations on your book Dr. Gosse. It is truly a pleasure learning about Alexander Bedward. Indeed, he is worthy of honour and respect not just by Jamaicans but by Caribbean people on a whole. He reminds me so much of St. Vincent's National Hero Joseph Chatoyer when you said the British knew not to mess with him. I found that very interesting 😊

Greetings. Very informative. Any info on whether Bedward had any influence on and/or connection to Kapo or Leonard Howell?
