As someone who tries to spread joy like the girl in the video, it’s important to know that joy doesn’t happen automatically. It takes time and effort, healthy thoughts and living plus a cultivation of gratitude. I don’t think it “comes easily” to anyone, but it’s so worth fighting for.

@@kikijewell2967 I too am recovering from a relationship that made me lose my joy. Something I've come to realize is everyone at some point or another is going to be miserable. So in the span of 7 billion people, why did I gravitate towards the people who *choose* to be negative? Now don't get me wrong, he had sides of him that I fell in love with. His worldview was negative overall because he didn't have a great time growing up. No one nurtured him or taught him gratitude in a way that stuck, so I thought I could show him. Lead by example, and maybe one day, he would believe that he deserved his happiness for himself. That he deserved more as a human being. It still didn't change the fact he chose to be negative. He didn't heal from his past, but maybe neither did I. Seven billion people and I chose the person who would choose to be negative. I found that to bring my joy back, I realized that he reflected a darker part of myself. He had insecurities that deep down I shared, and maybe subconsciously, I thought nurturing him would nurture me too. For you, it may be the same. Or maybe, he reminded you of someone else you knew in your past. Maybe someone who could've used more joy but never got it. By giving that joy to your ex, you're helping yourself heal over that injustice to that someone. Whatever it is, ask yourself what he represents to you. Dig into your initial fascination with him and what it meant to you. Why did you love him? Why did you hate him? What have you realized about yourself during and after your relationship with him? I've found that this helped me a lot. I sincerely wish you the best. You deserve to be happy

He can see the pink balls instead of rain because of the effect of the medicine he takes against the depression. The medicine makes him see things in a different and colourful way, but it doesn’t cure his negative approach to things. On the contrary the girl sees things as they are, but her approach to life is positive and she celebrates every thing in life. So the idea is that no depression medicine can change your negative approach to life, but a positive person next to you really can.

Do I have depression yes sometimes , yes every one does , but can I help myself to heal yes , I go for a walk look at the clouds and find a picture in them , and I love to dance in the rain I watched jene Kelly in a film when I was a child , and I always remembered how happy it made him , and so I recommend for everyone , bring out your inner child and dance in the rain . Even for a few minutes , it will not make your troubles disappear, but you will feel yourself again in time it might help, and you can’t feel bad if you jump in a puddle, it’s so satisfying lol enjoy your life , love yourself always . ☔️🙏do try it 2024

Well, you certainly can, even very small acts of kindness are more than enough. For instance, pay attention to people who are usually invisible to others. When entering the bus, really see the driver and say hello to him and wish him good day. When buying something, sincerely thank to the person who is selling it to you, look them into their eyes, smile and wish them good day. Etc. I'm 100% certain, if you try this, you'll make someone's day at least a bit better, and it will also make your day a bit better. I wish you all the best!

I honestly struggled with depression for such a long time, and what I learned through my journey and struggles was just how indescribably vast Jesus’s love is for me and how without it I continued to fill that God-sized hole in my heart with things that can never satisfy (like trying to fit a square into a circle in those kid games it just will never fit). I learned that the joy of the Lord truly is my strength and that it’s in Him and Him alone that I have strength every single day to face life with all its challenges. And that strength is available to anyone who is willing to call on Jesus and rely on Him to go before you as you fight your everyday battles and difficulties 🙏🏻

Omens Studios, thank you so much! This has really touched me. My life has been turned upside down the last few days. I've been battling depression and taking the med in the video, so when I just came across this, it just felt very personal. Thank you for giving me a good perspective to unfortunate events in life!

Even when you feel better PLEASE KEEP TAKING YOUR MEDICATION. It’s likely his medication started working at the same time she came along. Lifestyle changes plus stabilised brain hormones are both important. The tablets don’t work like panadol. They work like thyroid medication… you need to take it every day, even once you’re better.

what a cute animation. i like the idea - if it makes you happy, even for a short time, do something random :)

So beautiful! Since at the end it says “depression isn’t always obvious,” I’m thinking that means the girl is depressed too, and the rain helps her feel better. For the man, his pills help him feel better. The reason the pills turn into fluff balls at the end is so we can see that both the rain and the pills are helping the different characters feel better momentarily. Obvs I could be totally off lol but this was so lovely to watch!🩷🩷🩷

I can feel this animation movie and the thing that can kill is the routine : doing things everyday without thinking of it because it is always the same and days goes bye and the mood as well so it is a real serious matter because it really can kill. This is my impression so one of the remedy is : gratitude because it make us realize all the amazing things we have as health, wealth, house, security etc but also adding something in life that brin joys like sport or friends, or humanitarian things etc. It helped a looooooot.

My interpretation of this short film is live your life and let go of all the "what if...", "routine", "feeling sorry for myself". Let it all go and live!

This short makes me think of Sayori. I won't get into explicit details, but I tend to hand my myself to others until nothing is left. Her poetry resonated with me. The key difference is what the girl did in this video. I resonate better with that. Rain CAN be a bad thing, or, and hear me out, it COULD be as refreshing as a cold salad on a hot summer day. Depends on the day. It MIGHT be just what you needed to keep it up. That mentality is half of what keeps me level. The other half works better for myself than some others. I'm a nihilist with a desire to survive, as a point of why it's so.

Every day we get to decide whether we will be happy no matter what or not. It rains upon us all, at times. It slows us down , at times. Prepare to carry our own happiness regardless.

If you're depressed, put some colours in your life. It can be a colourful wallpaper or colourful post-its which don't cost anything. Colours brighten my life
