can we do the same but instead of a ball to have particles ? like many small balls ? and if yes do we need to apply gravity to the particles or they are build with that?

Thank you very much for sharing this useful tutorial! I have a question: I use Maya 2018. After I clicked "make collide" and applied it for the snow ground(copy of P cube particles) + the animated wheel, the snow prints didn't show up, when I played the wheel's animation.
