I have a Millennium Pro in 40 that has been accurate and reliable. I picked up the PT-22 to go with my TX-22 and have really enjoyed it. It will be going to the range with me in a couple of days along with my TH-9, G3 and PT-738 TCP. I will also bring my AR build and my Hi-Point 995TS for some long gun fun 😊. Thanks for the video and keep shooting.

I've had the two prior generations of Taurus' tip up barrel .22lr offerings and neither were even remotely reliable, they were great for training malfunction drills...it'd be wild to encounter one that actually is reliable, the only Taurus that has ever given me issues are the pt-22's.

That's I think why I really wanted to see this review. I want this to be a good gun, but it has a lot of work to overcome that PT-22 reputation. Probably the biggest reason they renamed it.

i have two , have about 500 rounds so far. the ammo it likes so far are cci mini mags and stingers. this gun sadly doesn’t like federal punch on my end.

The tuc is ok. But I'd keep my kel tec p17. $200. Bucks. And 3 16rd mags. Mine shoots flawless

I have the original PT22. Had many problems, had to send it back about three times. At one time they sent me a new gun, that one was sent back too. Taurus finally fixed it. It’s a range toy now.

I was thinking the same. But that can wait. I just found out Walther makes a PDP 4.5" FULL SIZE PROFESSIONAL ACRO. The Acro is directly mounted on the pdp slide!

Taurus 22 TUC is perfect for people with small hands and tiny fingers that has huge trouble with pistol recoil because of their small hand size!

Get a Beretta Bobcat or Tomcat. You’ll be glad you spent some extra money for a gun that cycles consistently and will last a lifetime.

I had a prior generation of this and it was horrid so hopefully this one works. These would be a great gun who have weak hands and cant rack a slide just load the mag tip up the barrel and you're good to go.

I definitely want the tuc (stainless slide). I had the old pt whatever model it was and it sucked! So, I hope this is a better improvement!

And a good another one to have what would be the Ruger LCR 22 LR Revolver it holds eight shots it has a concealed hammer so you don't snag with it as it has a polymer frame lightweight great grips but unlike the Smith & Wesson the Ruger has a stainless steel cylinder end barrel between 550 and 600 anyone really need to worry about a misfire on the revolver just keep pulling the trigger to the next cylinder no jamming also Taurus 22 tuc comes in a silver stainless steel a little more money and a better gun

Massively missed opportunity to give the market the consistency of primer fired while maintaining a 22/25 class caliber by not going 25 ACP w/ this. The market only sucking off the cheapest calibers is unfortunate, & scary.
