Woah! Done the Particle Skin setup without an intermediate TETs resampling in two ways: Random particle seed across the mesh - helps you even out the density of the simulation without intermediate steps, more accurate, but may require more particles. Or by using voxels and volume interpolation to form a particle shell around a mesh. An approximate method, possibly, more crude or on par with the TETS resampling.

TIP! : If your mesh gets squashed no matter what you do , try scaling the actor node . That fixed it for me. (using generic max units) Also center the actor node on 0,0,0 Thanks for the tutorial

Hey @fabienecudero , Great tutorial and loving the patreon channel. When i try to replicate the second tutorial in this video my geometry becomes distorted after adding the PhysXBind operator? Any ideas why this might be?

My objects (in my case, pillows) are sticking to each other like glued to each other once they bounce a few times, how do I reduce this effect?

Hi! Thanks for the tutorial, it´s very helpful! Did it happen to you that the tets operator was "filling" the volume of the objects with tets instead of just creating the hull?

Just a question: we currently don't have the pro version. Will the simulation and look be pretty much the same but without the ability to use GPU ?
@fabienescudero Жыл бұрын
Of course. Those effect and render are made on the beta version and without the use of gpu. Btw you can find file and render setting on patreon.

Ce BON!!! Could I ask whether its possible to have a mapped material on those soft bodies (say a face in facial area) and will the mapped material deform like a soft body? Excellent work Monsieur
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
ahah merci ! yes of course you can map the texture you want on the soft bodies simulation and your texture will deform with the movement of you softbody simulation ! you just need to textur you original mesh and apply this texture to tyflow

Try to decrease your mesh subdivisions and add turbosmooth later if you lags. I have a Ryzen 3800x / rtx 2070s / 64bg ram. It's really good but not on The top now.

At the end. When I put Actor under the Speed and want to ahve my object shot from the plane. The object does, but not from the plane, rather further about 200cm to the Y axis. I already checked the Pivot and all is centered on the object. Not sure what would be the problem. Anyway thank you very much, nice tutorial. edit: it looks like I need to place my mesh where my tyIcon is :/

How do you make the objets not to intersect each other?
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
If you follow all the step, the object are physical and collide
@victorblanchard7774 Жыл бұрын
one simple way to avoid to create self intersected cloth Bind when they birth : add a Fuse component just after the Position icon so all particules that are close to each other within a certain radius will be merged into one

wow this is real nice but what if I now want to break this soft body I mean shred it?
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
thanks man , if when you say " shred it " you mean tearing, you have an tearing property in clothbind but it will only affect the surface of you shape ! il you want to break the entire body if think you should play with the voronoi fracture
@TheDeathoxide953 жыл бұрын
@@fabienescudero yeah i meant like mortal kombat fatalities I did play with voronoi but whenever I add voronoi and softbody together with displace and scale it gets buggy and crashes, and also I cannot add custom collisions like a saw or a any weapon the soft body does not recognize the mesh but thanks for the tip!

Mate its great that you make tutorial, but its shame that its just copy of something someone else already did and you take all credit. At least mention where did you copy that. Like for example Stu Lloyd, etc... peace :)
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
Man if you look closely you will see that i use 2 way to make softbody animation and for the second way that is really close i admit , i show some other tips than StuLloyd dont talk like don't use sphere shape for self collision and other. i can understand what you say but for me its not a copy but more an upgrade from his tuts because his way didnt works for me with the last part but I will add a credit in the description because as I said I can understand :)
@Yakoza093 жыл бұрын
@@fabienescudero You seems cool mate. I respect that. A lot of people these days just copy and are not able to bring something new (i mean tutorials). I would only say first check what you want to show and if it was done 5-6-10 times by somebody else it may look like another copy and probably better idea is to do something else. I think best way how to get more attention is to make tutorials that are not out yet (i know it may be harder) but at least you are 100 original and you produce something new and unique. all best mate and good luck :)
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
@@Yakoza09 I totally agree with you man, but if you take 5min to see the other content that I produce you will see that it is not necessarily things that you find elsewhere. i'm just trying to do tutorials on what i wish i could learn when i started and share the knowledge i have. all the best for you too man :)
