Totally not true you just been listening to garbo stuff that is solely radio oriented An example is Steve lacy while not directly post punk his music kind of has this sound and he does it all by himself Another example is IGOR by Tyler the creator it’s heavily inspired by the 80s and 90s and I recommend listening to the vinyl deluxe on youtube

People love their music from their youth , every Age group says the same. We don't here on the radio anymore music from the 1940's (much) or WW 1 (1910-1925) , maybe in streaming or special shows. e.g. Broadway and theatre. I love the 80's

@@Amanda-dm5qr the English dominated all 4 decades: ‘60s through ‘90s. The U.S. owns the 50s and prior. English music simply wasn’t promoted in the U.S. in the ‘90s. Why? To destroy rock once and for all. It was all intentional. Bands like Ride and MBV were significantly more creative than the garbage coming from Seattle.

I’m 55 and this song bring me back in 1985 when working in a seasonal job in a restaurant after school, with another friend of mine. After work we use to go play music in the jukebox ( yes the jukebox) and I always like to play this song ... we were young , handsome and pretty girls around us😅😅.. it was a beautiful time

There was a group of us, back in the day. We exchanged vinyl and cassette tapes with one another. None of us had the money to buy every new record. The Hurting, Avalon by Roxy Music, Vienna by Ultravox, the diversity of sound back then.
