This is a video for Anja @Angelseyes91 who pledged for it in the #ViddersUnited. First of all thank you so so much for participating in this and helped with such a good cause, so yeah this is for you bby ❤️ I'm so glad you asked me to do this and I'm so glad to have meet you, you are so sweet and as crazy as I am LOL
This was supposed to be around one minute length and it ended up so much longer but Zalex makes it worth it haha that's why it's a lyric clean kind of video more focused in scenes.
So this is a FANMADE zalex spin off because we totally see it happening this way. Wish we have a real one in the future but this is for the meanwhile you know? 😂
Dialogues and scenes are a mix of my and Anja's ideas, and I mostly took a lot of inspiration in the masterpiece fanfic called Deserved on AO3 written by ThatOtherGirl13 too. If you are reading it you'll understand a lot of the scenes. If you aren't reading it, you should, she is doing God's work!

About the songs, I used zalex anthem Downtown by Majical Cloudz because it's a canon song of them ❤️ the one they slowed danced in Alex room, and the other, recommended by Anja because the lyrics screams zalex's happy ending.
As once Ross Butler said in an interview “I think you can meet somebody and you can really connect with them and maybe it's not the right timing to put them further down the road but when the timing is right you can explore that path".
I think collage is the right timing for them.
And I stop here hehe I don't want to make this longer than already is. I recommend you again to read Deserved, honestly.

BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOD! AND THE ENDING IS JUST INCREDIBLE! You not only did Zalex justice but us as well. Words cannot describe how happy(and how sad) you've made me with this. I can't believe they weren't canon. I've experienced a lot of disappointments with ships over the years but this one cuts the deepest and it's just because they had so much potential... A lot of people were(and still are) disappointed over zalex but many of them moved on because 13rw just isn't a big deal to them(I mean the show's a mess) so I don't know if your video will get the recognition it deserves, but I just want you to know that you have created a masterpiece and I hope you can see that too. Writers messed up the opportunity to gave representation to an interracial lgbtq couple where one of them is asian (knowing how tabu is lgbtq community in asian culture even nowadays). Zalex was built since season 1 and having them as a representation of lgbtq would've been so much powerful and meaningful than having Chalex, two white men that literally look like cousins and they have a 5 episodes built up relationship.
