If I got the digital firmware installed how do I go back to the analog one, can I just change the jumper or do I have to install the old firmware?

You have to change the jumper and install analog VCO fw otherwise it will not work

I wouldn't do that though. The new firmware is capable of making similar sounds and more. Also those pedals are doing some heavy lifting here

Yes its mor an alternative firmament, but the digital one is far better in therm of sound design

@@janhenckell4178 Yes exactly. You have to do both but we designed the SPII in a way that the square wave is still made by the analog comparator. Triangle wave is replaced with digital waves. Tbh I think the digital FW is far superior in sound and features.

I wonder if there are downsides of having the digital firmware on the analog jumper. Also there seem to be some new undocumented features of the analog vco with pressing slide+midi+1-8.

You cannot have digital fw on analog jumper. It will not work.
