When talking of rotten potatoes im the service, I remember a case where a lady had a house breakin in her house and went to report the incident to the local police, the police came to interview the lady and check a few things in the house. As a norm, when reporting cases we open up to the police telling them there is no one in the house during the day and I stay alone blah blah. The police collected that info only to come back later to steal soem appliances in the house and they were found in the boot of a private car of one of the police who went to write a statement. That is saps members for u, very rotten and it is so difficult to trust them...

We need to talk more about how politics influence policing from high ranking officials to station level. You will be shocked as to what is really happening. One will be thorough with investigation, or handling case while being threatened by suspects and solder on. Only to come across your seniors who hold national Offices’s mingling with the same suspect. Or get funny calls from them when you stop to search their “ friends cars”

30% started with the Mandela projects. A contractor could come from anywhere, but he/she was compelled to allocate x% of the work to local communities. Which included purchasing locally and all unskilled labour had to be local.
