I am still amazed that EV OTA updates don't update code/data out of band like Linux OS updates for example. This A/B system would allow you to use the vehicle while it is updating, then the next time you turn it off, it would switch the boot loader and be "instantly" updated. No wait, no fuss. And if there is a problem, it can just roll back to the last update while notifying the OEM of the issue - instead of becoming a brick that has to be towed. So... why doesn't Lucid and other OEMs do this? What am I missing?
