I would love to hear more about what folks will learn in this class. I don’t know much about the software. Thanks.

We will work through at least one project every month. The first month we will open an existing design and change it to something totally different, add lettering, create SVG cut files and more. You will see exactly how to perform each step of the change. The video lesson is over an hour long and can be stopped and re-watched as many times as needed. Each month you will also have access to a live help session where you can ask any questions you like about the lesson or software in general.

@@SewShelly thanks! That helps. I don’t currently own the software. I will look into it. I am particularly interested in creating svg files and matching embroidery files. I’d love to be able to trace a template, scan it, turn it into an svg for my cricut, and then embroider it. I have been thinking about Embrilliance but would consider this instead. I am a Mac user and am not sure this would run on a Mac.

Sorry, what I meant was is there a time limit to viewing the classes or do we have lifetime access? Happy 2024 Shelly! Phyllis

Hi Shelly, a big thank you for all your content. It is really helpful, even for those of us who may have been quilting/sewing for many years. I still learn and appreciate the great info you so generously provide. I’ve recently subscribed and..off topic, could I please ask, in your opinion, are there advantages to having a 5mm stitch plate to use on a Bernina 790+ or is it an unnecessary purchase ? No one, not even my dealer, seems to be able to give me a knowledgable answer re this. Wishing you all the very best for 2024.

The 5.5mm plate just gives more control of the fabric from undeneath while still being able to create a zig zag or decorative stitch. Basically the hole is not as wide. It really depends on what fabrics you are stitching with. Normal quilting cottons should not need the 5.5 plate.

Shelly, do we have access to the video content after the classes?

Absolutely! You can watch as much as you want. I will also upload the recording from the live help sessions that you can watch anyttime.
