Thank you! This is what I needed. I particularly needed to know how to add images to layers. I didn't know about the Place command. Some time saving improvements: - use "Make frames from layers" command - you can select all frames and set time delay for them in one shot.

At the bottom by the right side of the horizontal scroll bar, there is a button that looks like a white square. Click that to change to the frame view. Notice that when it changes, the button changes to a timeline looking image.

I just made a gif in Photoshop, and everything worked out great except for one thing. When I saved the file as a gif it only kept the only the last frame of animation and discarded the rest. So I then tried to "export for web and devices" as a gif and it did the same ting. Do you know what's going on?

Instead of selecting and changing the slides times individually, you can just SHIFT-click the first frame and the last to be able to change them all to the same time.
