Either she is a low key creative genius or she truthfully comes from upper class. The things she rattles off effortlessly (e.g. knowing that Condé Nast owns Vogue, familiarity with Spagos, her schooling) and her dense vocabulary shows she has far more depth and complexity than some people may see in her upon first glance. Based on what I've seen, she either is 100 percent telling the truth or she's one of the most amazing storytellers alive. Regardless, her talents are wasted trying to survive on Skid Row.

Yep, Knowing that Conde Nast owns Vogue makes him a creative genius! Knowing this doesn't make a person creative, it makes them superficial - which is a bad combination when mixed with meth and mental instability. Respectfully, this is psychotic ramblings at best and they are putting on a front to make it through the day and not deal with their life in reality. Strung-out escapism.

"Being homeless is the first time I ever felt like someone really cared about me." That line broke my heart. I've watched so many of Rebecca's interviews, and she's by far one of the most interesting people I've ever seen interviewed, homeless or not. She tells so many stories and versions of truth, but this one rang closest to the truth for me (based on how well spoken she can be and how knowledgeable she seems about certain cultural aspects, etc) If this story is true, it shows growing up with money can't replace a present and loving parent. If a child always feels like an inconvenient accessory in your life, they can adopt a completely opposite lifestyle if they associate it with feeling more valued or seen. Always holding out the highest of hopes for Rebecca. ❤

Very intelligent human being who deals with such horrible choices and lack of help. It is very sad that rape etc is so common people view it as entertainment to see others suffer. I see this as very educational, showing the harsh reality of the world we live in. How rebecca recounts times where shes been assaulted etc and no one helps. This is why our world is breaking. Rebecca is very vivacious and can be very articulate when she isn't high as a kite. Having had a close relative be diagnosed as schizo-affective (part bipolar, part schizophrenic) for the last 22 years, I now recognize mental illness when I see it, and I saw it right off the bat with Rebecca. With meds, it's manageable and people can be completely functional. If she could get off the streets then stay off the street drugs, then get in a therapy program which also gives psych meds support, she could turn her life around, as I bet she has the vision to create something like her own fashion magazine, fashion website etc.

Me too but I also wish that Rebecca gets help for her drug addictions, therapy for what type of abuse she suffered as a male child that, besides the Ecstasy she claimed she took, hypersexualized her to the point of acting like an abused child. This person, this human being was treated poorly and was probably never given and probably is incapable of seeking help of the psychiatric variety because of her addiction issues. With those out of the way there's hope that she can become better, focus on weather or not she'll fully transition to a female with the hormone therapy and the surgeries but this person needs help first before anything else. I really hope that Mark might be able to recruit Lima and get Rebecca the same help Amanda is getting - perhaps without the mandated court order unless Rebecca's family cares enough to help but judging by her appearance and inability to even shave I doubt Rebecca has much support. It's quite sad and maddening but Rebecca can be helped if she truly wants the help.

@wordswritteninred71713 жыл бұрын
You just don't understand her. You assume, that because she doesn't crumble, and give the violation POWER over her life, that she must be somehow denying or delusional about what happened to her. Here is the REALITY of it all... You FIGHT IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT. But once it's happened, ITS OVER! THINK ABOUT IT! I am now a grandma. I was raped twice, in a six month period, back when I was 17. The second time I was raped, an hour after it happened, I had to be in the lawyers office to go over my deposition, and answer questions, about the first rape. I didn't tell anyone about the second one. BECAUSE, let me share just ONE QUESTION. "WHY WOULD YOU BE DRESSED AS YOU WERE.? DO YOU THINK IT CONTRIBUTED TO THE OUTCOME?" Let's think about this, in CONTEXT. My answer "DO YOU HAVE A WELCOME MAT ON YOUR FRONT PORCH? SO IF YOU ARE ROBBED, (SHOULD HAVE SAID BURGLARY) WOULD YOUR WELCOME MAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE OUTCOME"? While I had a very good point, it was NOT THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION. It took me two decades to realize this. The ANSWER IS THIS, "I WAS GIVEN THOSE CLOTHES BY THE MAN WHO RAPED ME. BEING I WAS A CHILD OF THE SYSTEM, MY CLOTHES CAME FROM HIM! AT THE TIME, I HAD TWO OUTFITS. LITERALLY! ONE, THE ONE I WAS WEARING, CAME FROM HIM." Now, how should I spend my life? Was so messed up, by all of it, that I. Could not SEE REALITY! REALITY IS, I was giving a MOMENT IN TIME, COMPLETE POWER OF MY LIFE! IT WAS OVER!!! I WAS NOT IN THAT MOMENT ANY LONGER! I can LIVE IN THE MOMENT. I can GIVE POWER TO THE CONNECTING MOMENTS THAT FOLLOWED. (the ONE example I gave you) OR, I CAN TAKE BACK POWER! GIVE IT NOT ANOTHER MOMENT! I WAS EXTENDING THAT MOMENT, INTO DECADES! I COULD NOT SPEND ANOTHER SECOND ON THE PAIN! I COULD BE FREE! I JUST NEEDED TO DECIDE TO BE! Rebecca has learned this. In another interview, she makes a comment about pain takes too much energy. I have learned this very same lesson! IT IS EXHAUSTING TO BE ANGRY, OR IN PAIN! And you CAN CHOOSE TO THROW AWAY THAT BAGGAGE! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CARRY IT ANOTHER MOMENT! Think about what I am saying here. She makes the comment about the shower, because she NEEDS TO WASH IT OFF! This is a COMMON RESPONSE! An indication that what she said is a very true story! But she is, LITERALLY, A GENIUS! I bet if she were tested, she has an extremely high IQ. And not just intellectually, but emotionally as well. She has a lot figured out. She does have some things twisted. THIS is not what it is. I truly wish for everyone to understand these things. It would help EVERYONE OVERCOME the tramas in their lives. (Plz don't come back saying something about my choice of FONT! I do not yell at people in real life, so have ZERO NEED to yell at someone in print. It is used to STRESS IMPORTANCE! Those who need to denote yelling in print is just childish! This BELIEF of YELLING needs to stop! Enough already! If you are distracted by font, then you will not be able to understand what I am saying anyway! THANKS)

She is very emotionally mature. She has learned many life lessons. And one that she has learned and mastered, is how to deal with trans. One of the WORST THINGS that has been done, is this BELIEF that once a person is raped, or if molested as a child, that they "LIVE WITH THAT PAIN FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES". This is not true! You can HEAL THOSE WOUNDS! You just need to learn HOW TO HEAL! Rebecca has learned how! I am trying to open your eyes to this. She tried to convey that she has done this. So I hope you STOP AND CONTEMPLATE IT. So YOU TOO CAN LEARN HOW! And so you too can SHOW OTHERS! So LESS PEOPLE WILL BE STUCK WITH THAT OPEN WOUND! AND HEAL! THINK ABOUT IT!

I lived in the Middle East for several years and from/inflections the first interview I noticed she definitely has Arabic intonations when speaking English. This part at least seems true.

Ok first off i absolutely love Rebecca and hope for her. Your videos have made me weep many many times. Being from Chicago faces like those on your channel werent unfamiliar, but i had always seen them at face value, at their worst, and never really stopped to consider this is the very real long term result of "casual drug use". This is the result I could one day be easily living. The romantification of drugs in city life leads so many teenagers down a dangerous path. Your channel made me truly realize what a slippery slope experimentation is. At one point every addict was a curious teenager or kid and realizing this is the position i am currently in you have made me realize that i will never ever ever ever ever touch hard addictive substances. Thank you, and I hope that you continue to inspire and help people.

Rebecca is quite eccentric, yet interesting. It's compelling to see how some of the choices you make in life can take you down a totally different path. I hope she's able to get an ID and a job soon to avoid being on the streets and getting assaulted again.

I had to watch this early video after being introduced to Rebecca in the final video…My God, has he descended into chemical madness. What a beautiful soul though and must’ve have hurt very much to walk away Mark but you had to. I’m an ER nurse and I’ve seen a lot of your videos to help prevent burnout on ppl, but this one really got me thinking more about you and the work you put in. And you need to keep doing it, so I’m going to become a paying subscriber. I think more of your well off viewers should do the same.

Go and watch the September 2021 update. This lifestyle is not fun or entertaining. It looks like this person is dying.
