A police officer who patrols the area Interview volunteers at the local soup kitchen or thrift store. Interview the go-betweens of Skid Row and the rest of society. I love these interviews, seeing their perspective, but I would also love to hear some stories from a paramedic or cop who has worked these streets. That would be cool.

People can praise him if they want, but he's still a user of people in the very worst way. I watched several interviews with him on youtube. He's had the same rap for years and it's always about how stupid women are for giving people like him money. That may be true, but it doesn't make you a great person when you are taking advantage of it. "ya know what I'm sayin". I can't help it. It cracks me up all the commenters saying how smart he was. Most of his breath was focused on either how someone looks and how much money was involved. The endof the interview some what redeemed him when he talked about love and respect. How much love and respect does a prostitute have when she's risking her life to sell her body for money which has nothing to do w/ love. As if people should admire him for not interfering w/ a female who's pursuing an education because he didn't want to get in the way of her fulfilling her goal. Duh...who thinks that that is noble? I admire people who have a rich vocabulary and can share how they've made the world a better place for people in spite of not getting rich as that fulfills them. "Blaming" women for prostitution is too simplistic. Casting blame in that way ignores patriarchal and genetic predispositions that have borne this industry that so heavily relies on femme bodies servicing masculine bodies. Femme bodies don't owe masculine bodies anything, yet it's an extremely lucrative industry because masculine bodies abuse the power they have inherited from their ancestors. Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that a guy not being able to get laid is not caused by women. It's caused by hyper-masculinity and a supreme lack of emotional intelligence in men.
