Looks like a good EDC knife, if I carried fixed blades daily. Definitely a nice basic design. Your comments about this weekend made me realize that this will be my first Fathers Day with none of my children around, not since our oldest was born. We have a family video call scheduled that night though, so I'll get to see most of them anyway.

Aw that is sad. Luckily my youngest was born after I turned 40 so I will have kids in the house until I retire. That could be a good or really bad thing.

I also hope I get my breakfast in bed. The sad part is my kids are still small so they are awake before us so rest is a scarce commodity in our lives. My youngest I had at 40 so I love them but they are killing me.

I have the same knife without the scales. I wear it as one of my neck knives. I won it in a competition it is a nice little knife.

SOG stands for “Studies and Observations Group”; it was a unit that conducted covert operations during the Vietnam War; I’m not sure what connection it has to the current knife company though. It’s a cool little fixed blade, but I wish it was a better steel. Can’t have it all I guess😁. Have a great festival week, man!

I currently have a Kizer Crocotool as a little neck knife, Victorinox Farmer X in pocket,Microtech Ultratech Tanto plain edge right back pocket and right front pocket Esee Izula 440C clipped then also CRKT MINIMALIST bowie blue handle scales also neck carry.. Im pretty much covered with all cutting needs.. I do however carry a Leatherman Curl in a fanny pack which i shoulder carry with my cellphone and a Victorinox Soldier with alox scales from 1994..its a classic in my collection.. I do have one of these SOG mini Instinct neck knives on the way also from Takealot for R200. I just want to also enquire if i still need to pay delivery fees,when it arrives? Its my very first order from Takealot.. Do you still enjoy using the SOG mini Instinct? Have a splendid evening 😀 Im residing in the Western Cape.. Stay safe bru..

@@STUFFWEDO hi ek het die SOG mini Instinct toe gekry. Dis ok..maar niks comparable met ñ CRKT MINIMALIST nie.. Die quality en fit and finish is nie dieselfde nie..maar wat jy kry vir R200 is nie bad nie.. You get what you pay for..haha Ek dink dis heel ok vir wat ek betaal het. Dis darem ñ SOG. Anyway stay safe keep well
