I admire Sogand not only for her magical voice, but because of her impressive personality. Her lifestyle truly represents a generation of iranian girls who have been fighting for their rights for many years. Iranian female singers are now in a new age which Sogand has kicked it off: "the age of equality". I believe in the future her art will be mentioned as a milestone in the evolution of iranian women, just like Googoosh 40 years ago.
