Do you have to call sets or serves? And can u hit the ball 2 times?

I think you call sets so you don't run into each other but serves no. Serving starts the rally and the server is in the serving position 1 or 5 I think. Hitting the ball twice on the other hand is a no the only exception is a block. A block doesn't count as a touch. So if you touch the ball twice like say you didn't get it high enough so you touch it again to get it higher that's a violation.

So um- good news I bought a volleyball ball ( the Mikasa one ) I tried it and loved it! Bad News It HuRTs 😢🥺 But I still love it 😄
