my thoughts exactly, even with his one shot move, its not enough to compensate for his lack of hitboxes, lack of any kind of pressure, complete incapability to throw a light into heavy or heavy into light, and his lack of damage. Sure he becomes useful once he has all souls and all feats but sometimes the start of the match doesnt go so well and you just stay at the bottom till the end lol

What are your thoughts on the big soul attqck damage nerf, then making his chain zone unblockable and more damage on light finishers?

Sohei is one of those heroes where he cannot be balanced in a way that makes everyone happy. I think most people do want the big soul attack to be nerfed. I would personally really like being able to do light heavy and heavy light. It is really restrictive and predictable to have to follow . up with the same attack i did previously. The zone being unblockable might not be a bad idea, definitely would add some good pressure. the damage increase would be nice but i think it would need some tweaks with the tier 3 feat.

He is pretty weak. They should heavily nerf his big damage thing, give him normal damage on the rest of his attacks, then give me heavy/light and light/heavy chains. He might be pretty viable after that.
