You are right when you say that as a child its difrent and you ll never forget that feeling so you take your child to that place to make her or him take that to give it to his child. I love Droomvlucht a lot but my favourite is "Villa Volta" not just because of the music and the experience. I love to sit there and watch how other people experience their 1st ride. Their faces and sounds make my day😂. Me and my son want to do a whole day in Villa Volta one day😂

Fun fact about designer Michel den Dulk. He now works for Walt Disney imagineering and is responsible for all the new Frozen lands that are being build in the world. But his career started in the Efteling. One of his biggest projects was Anton Pieck square

All the designers of the efteling are Anton pieck Peter reijnders( was responseble for the fairytale forest in the early stages of the efteling he came up with alot of the ideas and technical stuf and anton pieck did the design work) Ton van de ven Henny knoet Michel den dulk Robert-Jaap Jansen( he is still working in the efteling but isnt really a main designer anymore. Correct me if im wrong) And the current designers are Sander de bruijn Jeroen verheij Karel willemen Bas van rijsbergen And there are also some that did some smaller things If im not mistaken this is all designers if i missed someting u can correct me

Believe it or not but I was in the Efteling on the 29th of january and I had 12 degrees celsius and full sunshine till sundown, it really felt like spring, just did 2 rides, but had a lovely day just walking around and watch people, do some shopping and look at the merch and eat and drink something inbetween, thumbs up!

Love your vlog again. Martyn you are right about the trail. The parc open but Some bits are closed until parc opens. So you won’t get very far. Pardoes is turning it’s for , indeed, the sun. You are right Helena! The pots with the food is erwtensoep 😊. Delicatesse Here in winterttime. I love droomvlucht too. I ride droomvlucht every single time I go to Efteling and now I go once a week😊, still spot things I have’t seen before! Ton van de Ven you can see in Villa Volta! The painting next to Hugo , another fact. It’s a worstbroodje. It’s tipical dish from Brabant where Efteling is in. I can’t wait for the next one! Oh and Martyn I think you were brave to go skating 🎉🎉, you did it!!

That one was a fun one again. It's so magical with all the snow. My uncle Toon actually helped Anton Pieck during the 60s with the design of a few Sprookjesbos fairytales. He never really was bragging about it. For him, it was a very good learning school. I got to go last Tuesday, and I was able to go on quite a few rides because it wasn't busy as well. In the beginning Max and Morritz was closed, but thankfully, I went back when I wanted to leave, and get a Pretzel, and I saw it aas open, so I got to ride Max, soooo much fun. Loved it. Next time, I will ride both ones. Drooomvlucht and the half moon and The Flying Dutchman and Baron. Oh, and Villa Volta. I just saw a KZbin video of how far the new ride is. Dance Macabre. It looks amazing already. Can't wait to go there when it opens.

Wonderful to see how you are enjoying Efteling in winter. I feel like I am there with you!😃 I wonder if you would like to really pronounce Droomvlucht as we say it in the Netherlands. It is all in the vowels. The /oo/ from Droom is in English more like the /o/ from Open or Over. And when you hold it a little longer you have the right way to pronounce it. I doubt if you will enjoy the ride better this way, but I know that you always like to find out these things. Especcially Martin! And yes; my favourite ride is definately Droomvlucht (ch= g);-).

The promenade from the entrance to Symbolica is used by the Efteling to store guests 1 hour before the park opens. All the gates to the park will stay closed until the park opens. You can have some breakfast at several locations on the promenade and the playground of Fabula is open at that time. Overnight guests can get into the park 30 minutes before the park opens at 2 points. That is between Caro and Aquanura and through the playground Kleuterhof. I’ve tried to explain to overnight guest that the took a wrong turn on multiple occasions. And I’m also a guest. I Know it’s clearly marked. You did proved that it is. You had the perfect time to visit the Winter-Efteling. In that one week there was actual snow. I’m glad to see that you like everything the Efteling has to offer. It has something for everyone in the family. My favorite ride is Droomvlucht. There has been a day I did that ride 9 times.

When i was little, i would go to efteling with my grandparents and parents, and i always wanted to go in the carousel, so everybody had coffee, while i went like 15 times in the carousel! I had the time of my life😂😂
