Sohyang is one of the best vocalist in the world alive today. She has been praised by many singers, producers and has had many labels want to sign her.. she has declined because she wants to sing to comfort people in the time of need.. you can't find that in many singers today.. I always say.. once you gain haters you are doing your job because there will always be people out there to try to bring you down because they don't have what you have..I will always support sohyang no matter what she does because we need more people in the world like her...she not only sings but also gives back to people she touches in the world.

Sohyang can pull swag and belting just fine! When she collabs with other singer(s).. I notice that she has always been respectful and kept herself to not outshine her guests. Another rap perf of my recommendation is Begin Again Korea's Day Day. She really lit the stage on fire as well. About hateful comments to her on youtube, as i said before, there have been present all the time.. and sometimes I found that they would be from same accounts. Despite being called out by many reactors, these people still don't change. Hater's gonna hate.. so i'm gonna like Sohyang and cheer on her more while letting those unkind comments rot away somewhere. I'm a huge Sohyang fan, have been for a decade. I understand people have different taste in music but considering what an amazing person Sohyang is in and out, plus the message she sends, the hate is unnecessary. Just don't watch her videos, that's fine. She is a beautiful soul that has done nothing but try to spread love and joy, and doing it while dealing with much personal adversity. People like her should be praised, admired and emulated. If we had more people like her and less people like her haters the world would be a much better place.

Brandon, I can't thank you enough for taking the time to defend the PHENOMENAL So Hyang, from the negative comments. As the saying goes..... HATERS ARE GONNA HATE!!! In So Hyang's case, the criticism is UNWARRANTED/UNTRUE and based in IGNORANCE. To say she is a screamer, is a JOKE. Her 'screaming' is in PERFECT PITCH. So Hyang's vocal range is RIDICULOUS and her breath control is INSANE and UNMATCHED. Vocal coaches and opera singers who have reacted to So Hyang, agree her technique is FLAWLESS and EFFORTLESS. God bless you Brandon. You're a good man. If you want to listen to a BADASS RAPPER, then I STRONGLY recommend you react to So Hyang, singing, 'Day Day', from the Begin Again Korea, series. She is spitting bars, like she's been doing it all of her life. During the first year of the pandemic, So Hyang, along with some other Korean artists, travelled throughout South Korea, performing acoustic mini concerts, for lucky raffle winners. The concerts were meant to help people get through the pandemic.

Bro that's just envy, idiots without arguments, there are countless vocal coaches who even break down in tears analyzing Sohyang, wondering how she can be so good at singing, countless detailed analyzes of her voice, they always place her among the best vocalists, even many of them as the best, if she were a screamer the big record companies would not bother to offer her millionaire contracts that she has had the luxury of respectfully rejecting due to her religious convictions, these haters cannot stand a serious debate about Sohyang's virtues.

In my opinion, haters don't like everything about SoHyang!! Maybe.. they hate to admit that their favorite singers is behind SoHyang.. Even so.. I don't know why they come out so hostile like that! They just can't accept the technical fact that Sohyang is better than Regine. So they just try to tear her down with whatever lack of vocabulary they have in their head and unnecessarily list Regine's achievement for no apparent reason. To them it's probably the more, the better mindset, but essentially it's quality over quantity.

I know yr far too respectful to name the origin of these bad comments but I’d be prepared to bet a lot of money that they originate in the Philippines or more specifically fans of morissette ( I have to say that not all filipino’s or morissette fans hate Sohyang, she has many supporters in this group). You are right in that it is in the main supporters of another female singer, morissette. Firstly, they obviously don’t know anything about good vocals if they TRULY believe Sohyang isn’t an excellent singer, you will never find a reaction from anyone that actually knows what they’re talking about in the music industry, whether that be a fellow singer, vocal coach etc saying anything but good comments about Sohyang. Whatever genre of music you’re in to & if she is not the type of music you usually listen to, what cant be denied is obvious ‘off the charts’ technique & especially her ability to emote & tell a story through a song. I actually read a comment that said she was ‘cold’ & sang with no emotion 😂😂😂 which is the last thing that can be levelled at Sohyang. Of all the reaction video’s I’ve seen, she has to be up there, along with maybe dimash, as the singer who invokes the most emotion, often to tears, the most often. The problem is simple, it’s jealousy, the fact that Sohyang is a threat to morissette’s dominance of the female singer market. Sohyang is my favourite female singer BUT morissette is an amazing singer also & I never lower myself to say bad things about morissette just so I can support Sohyang, it’s just wrong when it’s done towards any singer but especially so in sohyang’s case, they definitely picked the wrong person to send hate towards because she is the last person in the world that as she is the last person in the world that anyone should have bad feelin towards because she is just the most beautiful person inside & out, she is kind, always putting others first, she’s not driven by money etc she’d rather follow her heart & do what she thinks is right for her & if this brings fame & success it’s a bonus, but it’s not the reason why she sings. And to remember that all this from Sohyang is always done with sincerity & a smile despite all the darkness in her past & the ongoing health issue’s she experiences today as a result of that. I find it really petty & you usually come across this sort of behaviour in teenage girls especially when they & all their friends discover the latest pop star to hit the market & they’re completely besotted & as far as they’re concerned they are the only person/people on the planet that can sing, nobody else exist in their eyes & if they do acknowledge the existence of another singer, it’s usually only to tell you that they are rubbish compared to their favourite etc, but we’re talking about YOUNG TEENAGE GIRLS here, I would guess that the hateful comments directed at Sohyang don’t come from teenage girls though, I bet they’re mainly from grown adults who should know better. I wonder if these people realise that hate towards Sohyang may actually be working against morissette rather than supporting her. I wonder if anyone has turned away from morissette because of the behaviour of some of her so-called fans ( I must stress one again the word ‘SOME’ of her fans). I would also imagine that morissette herself would be mortified by this behaviour. Some reactors just block these people, but they open fake accounts etc & keep going, but I want to Thankyou for actually highlighting this problem & makin your feelings known about it.
