Soileater Tourniquete holder Version 3, Review

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Soileater Tourniquete multipurpose sleeve/pouch (Belt and MOLLE). I know some of you out there are already not sure if this is an Airsoft product but I can say that I honestly think it is. It is definitely more of a "Real World" item but there is always the chance, especially at a large event that you may encounter a serious enough wound that would require a TQ.
Now I am 100 percent in the camp that if you are going to carry an item like this on your person you need to know how to PROPERLY use it and I do implore all of you to take some medical classes when and where feasible. It is a slick piece of kit and is very versatile. I like that you can choose to wear it on your 1st line belt or MOLLE it onto a plate carrier or chest rig. The tension on the elastic is good, not too tight and not too loose so it retains the TQ with the proper amount of force. Overall I don't have anything negative to say about this item just yet. I have been using it for about three months and it has been very unobtrusive and easy to manipulate and get to.

Nice review, I like that pouch design. I carry a SAM XT TQ, its proven difficult to find a pouch for it as they are mechanical instead of velcro based. The ratchet mechanism make it not fit into normal CAT pouch. This seems quite a step above the basic cat TQ pouch. Ill have to see if i can get it via their site as it doesnt mention international shipping. Seems Evike is one of their retailers as well.

Now I have a new TQ holder set on the list, while I never heard of the Soil Eater (or Snake Eater 😂) I think it’s quite an interesting company and it’s good to have another way to set my tourniquet right where I want it. Not sure if I really want to set it on my war belt (considering the bulk but if you’ve actually done this via going prone and the TQ is soft enough to like mush up) but I’d probably set it around my plate carrier where it’s not gonna get dirty at all, possibly next to my IFAK.

These are pretty awesome and you can run them on your vest or belt line. I can say when you are prone you don't notice the TQ at the 11-1130 position on your belt line. Also the cover and elastic sleeve kept it clean and non obstructed when it was needed to be deployed.
