Well I'm in a band myself and it doesn't matter if I am on stage or in the audience - live you automatically go faster. If you'd have the exact same speed like on the record it would just feel to slow because everybody runs on so much adrenaline (at that kind of music) that your perception changes, but I think it's good like that. Besides they are not THAT much fast, just a little in fact, I'd say...

jesus christ, it's not about that. Soilwork are amazing live, I've never seen another band with more energy on the stage. If you see bands live, you don't mainly go to listen to the music, you are, atleast me, there because of the whole experience. so stop accusing soilwork of sounding terrible live, they don't, and you might need a little bit more musical experience, because the main thing about playing live isn't how "really fast" you play, but connecting.

Youu just don't have any idea about live music then. As I said, the perception changes at a live concert, for the band as well as for the audience. We WANT to play faster, we are not accidently doing it, if you didn't get that. And our drummer kills it btw. So don't talk shit you have no clue about and don't fuckin' say anything against my band if you haven't even heard us yet.
