When you hear Dirk you just KNOW he's got a lot of talent and a lot of years of experience under his belt. Dirk Verbeuren kicks fucking BUT!!!

dirk is my idol because he is able to maintain power and groove at such high tempos. in fact that is what he is probably best known for...

He's a beast! His right hand is so independent it looks like it has got a life of its own! The verse part is so hard to play!

Mr. Verbeuren... I have never seen a drummer perform as well live as he did on one of the first gigs promoting the latest album, too bad they DIDN't play the Pittsburgh Syndrome on that gig, as he surely knocks out a whole lot of competition when it comes to feel. The thing about this guy is anyone can develop speed in their hands, but he really adds something special in almost every 4th note, wich is awesome. and oh yeah, Dirk vs. Chris Adler = NOT COMPARABLE! Soilwork vs. LOG: DIFFERENT!

jeez. i dont know many other drummers that pull off that kinda stuff in one take every time. his technique is truly ridiculous. doesnt even look hard for him.
@benwcc15 жыл бұрын
I would listen to all albums from different bands that dirk recorded drums on those.

@hellrazor66516 жыл бұрын
dude how can you say that adler sucks?I think that they are both good drummers and log and soilwork are both good bands and adler is extreme in his own way,he has his own style so don't compare them cause they are not trying to copy each other!!!
@lorddresefer14 жыл бұрын
@sebbimon look up tim yeung for a fast and accurate metal drummer! also he's very underated but Travis Smith from trivium can do some crazy shit
@ZetPro16 жыл бұрын
thiere drummer is awsome .. just a little 2bad the video only focus him :S and barely hear smt else than drums... and it sound pretty bad when u hear LIVE recorded but i ensure u when ur watching em live it sound amazing :D
@VictorVican16 жыл бұрын
Im sorry Drummertahtismetal but im afraid i gotta agree with webbtje. Listen to logs latest 2 albums and count the variety of different fills. Youll probably get up to 3. Listen to some real music like Sikth or Dream Theater. Those guys are original, log are just mainstream.

The trivium kid isn't anywhere near the same league as Verbeuren or Yeung.

Adler sucks. Double kick and 4/4 cymbals at mid-tempo. Wow. How hard. Verbeuren absolutely smokes him, as do a fuckload of extreme metal drummers. Because, in case you hadn't noticed, LoG are not extreme.
