This could be better than a Vios, considering the Ground clearance and slightly tall stature. It seems more practical in both urban, semi urban and rural environments.

Very nice review Joo! This variant is definitely the most practical choice if you plan to keep the vehicle for a very long time. No turbocharger means less maintenance items for the engine and physical gears in the manual gear box means there is no CVT belt or chain that can possibly break in the later years of the vehicle's life. You aren't missing out on too much in terms of features and accessories as well compared to the higher variants, and for the price that Toyota is offering that is a lot of value for this market segment.

It's like Toyota Philippines gave us so many features like Android Auto/Apple Carplay, Stability Control and Hill Start Assist for FREE! And in a BASE MANUAL VARIANT. I was like, did Toyota priced this one mistakenly? With all that features this should be at 900k!

The size is perfect for city driving, easy to park in tight spaces, ground clearance is very nice, short stick manual transmission to play with and awesome SRP. It will surely be another best seller.

Lexus, MB, and BMW are more expensive in Saudi Arabia than in the US. You have to pay a hefty premium for Toyota for most models, or wait for three to six months. Chinese cars are generally good, but if you have an accident, then you'll have to wait three to six months.

No seat height adjustment, just like the older editions of the Suzuki Jimny (not sure about the latest version). Still, I think it's something that most Southeast Asian drivers of average height can manage.
