Mostly Filipinos buy cars with the minimum usage of ten yrs + . They were looking for higher grounds clearances , a simple good 4 cylinders , and durable underchassis because of the road conditions. They were afraid of experimental 3 cylinders type engine. Any esthetic features were not important. Because theres a lot of car accessories stores to depend on added features in the car later.

Meanwhile mirage is like the second best selling car in the market and its 3 cylinder. So i think it doesnt matter now. And raize is also a 3 cylinder btw and its the 5th best selling car in 2023. I think the reason why kia wont be more popular than the wigo is that people still think korean cars are still unreliable even though they are comparing models 10 to 20 yrs ago that are still running today.

As an enjoyer of funny tiny hatchbacks like this (I liked the previous versions we had here before it got phased out, legitimately a cool tiny car), the Wigo, and even the S-Presso, I'd definitely like a return of the Morning/Picanto here with this new facelift. bought my daughter a 2018 KIA Forte in 2019 (her first car while in High School). The single worst purchase I've ever made - it hasn't been stolen or burst into flames [yet] but our insurance premiums in Illinois are more reflective of a luxury sedan than an economy vehicle. Someone please start up a second class action lawsuit to address both Hyundai/KIA negligence on behalf of ALL owners irregardless of theft, fire, etc. Owner insurance premiums totaling nearly twice the cost they should be isn't fair. They shouldn't be allowed to sell vehicles in the U.S. until this is addressed.

My suzuki ignis 1.2 litre 4 cyclinder cruises at a 100kph at 1800 revs gets up to 110 kilometres per gallon {4.5 litres) Will tow 1000 kgs (braked). Made in Japan. Picanto is a great looking little motor car but its not versatile enough for me.
