The times they are a'changing... and I, too, am so glad to live in a time where these Queens are celebrared and represented and loved by MANY! Cannot wait to see what the Drag scene will look like in 10+ years from now. They are no longer being recognized as 'freaks' of humanity, but rather beautiful, special, strong, resiliant and confident Queens who are finally being recognized for their art and talents and bravery/courage. They might be fem, but they are more of a man than most 'straight' men who worry and care way too much about what others may think of them for no good reason, instead of opening their hearts and broadening their horizons and living life to the fullest and as Mama Ru says, 'using all the crayons in the box.' RPDR helped bring families together. It has opened SO mny peoples' eyes. It has taught SO many people things about Queer culture and Drag culture that the world so desperately needs/needed to see and uneerstand. Thank gawd for Drag Race for helping to'normalize' these Queens and teach us to learn how to love and appreciate these beautiful artists ❤💛💚💙💜

Umm it's always been that way. I'm 60, was at gay clubs & shows in my teen years. The queens always dressed me up to look older so I wasn't carded. Back then they carded you if you didn't look old enough. There are alot of people who don't accept it, that will always be the case. People haven't changed. Social media & Ru Paul came along, gave them a bigger platform. But it also gave everyone else the same so it's not as accepted as you think. My daughters are both gay, live their life like anyone else. They're not loud & constantly looking for acceptance. If racism is gunna be around forever believe me so will non acceptance of this. But IDK how anyone couldn't admit Soju is gorg here & in most other looks she does.

If she can't replace heels for platforms, she just needs to get creative with looks and materials that she could work out to mimic shoes or even heels. Want a greek goddess outfit? Go barefoot and tie a lace around the toes and legs. Something sea related? Go for a scuba diver or something, and wear fins with it. Mermaids? Does she even need shoes for that? A Glam challenge? Wear all sparkle and diamonds street fashion with a nice pair of 100% stoned dad sneakers. An animal challenge? Crawl the runway, IDK! If she went on a RPDG season with that problem, she can go on an AS season with that problem too!

What annoyed me about the lips, it was how visibly overdrawn they are. Usually queens make their lips even if overdrawn look like they are naturally so big with different techniques. I love Soju, I wish she embraced her asian flat nose instead of contouring it to look more like a caucasian feature. I know a lot of drag queens are about the dramatic look and as such she wants well defined features, but it is rare to see some an Asian prominently in the "famous" drag community and it would be awesome to see her rocking her asian traits.
