Whoever had a trance listening to this song, its been sung in the jungles of South Karnataka for atleast 800 years. Story is that Lord Shiva roamed the jungles riding on a Tiger. He was a saint, a boy , but Lord Shiva. Please visit the *temple of Male Mahadeshwara (Shiva), MM Hills,* for whom this song was composed as a folklore. Back in those ages, people from villages afar walked and climbed the mountains, 100s of kms to visit the temple. Singing this song made their journey easy. Its been passed on since then as a traditional song. My parents named me Mahadeva after the same God, and we come from this region :)
