The Moonsault pretzel doesn't go to 6 G's. The Hypersonic portion I can understand since I tried to approximate the acceleration.

@@nottrevorallenI mean there was major structural deficiencies with cut corners. It was just safe enough because cutting corners compared to normal woodies mainly takes out a safety buffer, but still minimal structural buffer is less safe

Yeah, but the entire ride is made of just a steel coaster (like a Mack or intamin multi launch) but used supports really well.

Tame the pretzel knot and it would have been fine. Moonsault really was a product of the coaster wars and really showed there was no further one could take the overall boomerang concept than possibly the Giant Inverted Boomerang

I would recommend making more of these videos, not necessarily with defunct coasters, but just coasters in general. Maybe do parts of every B&M invert or something like that!

@@nesmanmain0001 I never envisioned a "series" (I'd rather march to the beat of my own drum) but an idea just now popped into my head: an amalgamation of various coasters from across my channel (specifically from any of the 'NL2 year' playlists) but I leave the references out of the description (the working title would be "Chimera").

@@nesmanmain0001 Actually now that I think about it, I wouldn't rule out making a Frankencoaster 2 that includes some defunct rides that I didn't include here. During development I was thinking about making a Top Thrill Dragster section in place of where the Hypersonic XLC section is. The "amalgamation of coasters across my channel" idea was just spitballing.

Another mashup idea: a ride that just takes all the greatest airtime moments around the world and puts them into one coaster. Maverick’s first hill. Skyrush. Phantom’s Revenge finale. Kondaa’s first two elements. Etc

Son Of Wicked Drachen Fire Vortex Greezed Lightning Twister Moonsault Scramble Hypersonic Beast XLC

I've ridden 4 and a half of these in real life: Drachen Fire, Vortex, Wicked Twister, and Hypersonic XLC. I never rode Greazed Lightnin', but I DID ride King Kobra at Kings Dominion, which was the same ride -- a weight-drop Schwartzkopf shuttle looper from the 70s. Drachen Fire was alright, but kinda rough. It felt like Arrow trying to build a B&M (and failing). Hypersonic XLC had the most intense launch of any coaster ever. I know it only reached 80mph, but its launch was far more intense than any LIM or hydraulic launch, including Top Thrill Dragster.

That would have been a good idea, tho I had kinda thought about making a swing launch invert inspired by Volcano to make up for that (or maybe I wanted to anyway).
