He is playing effortless, without any pressure but still very "strong" and also light and clean... Those trills!

It takes such artistry and skilfulness to play Rameau, and no one in my humble opinion interpretation such divine masterpieces then Sokolov. I could hear Sokolov playing for hours never stop, admiring his full dedication, yes, for Baroque, especially French composers of that period. ❤

Je ne crois pas qu'il soit possible de surpasser Sokolov. De plus, il fait connaître Rameau, le grand théoricien, mais aussi un excellent compositeur. Je vous remercie du suivi. Salutations, Micheline

I came to this immediately from listening to Scott Ross's harpsichord version. Both totally different in every possible way and both totally convincing! However, Sokolov rethinks and almost rewrites everything he plays, while Ross plays exactly as Rameau, the greatest genius of the 3, intended.
