Since Japanese can learn any music instrument in school, I can say they are better musician than average. Maybe that's why rock musics is still strong in Japan.

Having recently discovered Band Maid, I am super happy to find another band on the same level. Not just technically skilled but super creative in a way that's just jaw-dropping to watch. I really enjoyed this and will be checking out more of their stuff. Keep it coming, Japan.

Same here. A big fan of band maid. And now this group.
@yona97982 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love BAND-MAID, they're actually one of my all time favourite bands and their stuff is quite difficult to play, but - having played the bass part of 掌で踊る -sokoninaru is just on a whole other level technically... Again, I love BAND-MAID and their stuff is amazingly well written and performed, I actually prefer them a bit because of that, but sokoninaru just completely overdo, like, everything with only three people...
@haggaisimon77482 жыл бұрын
@@yona9798 I love Sokoninaru, but Band Maid's song writing is above the roof. Technically Soko may be more elaborate, but gosh, the diversity of BM is astonishing. The last songs added, Hinaba, and Corallium added a great spin to their already wide repertoire, which I love very much. A new trend started in Moratrium, contnuied in No God and now these two B-sides that made this a consistent trend in mixing genres in one song. I wonder what next? Catharsis again changed their direction with more profound vocal textures. What a group! But Complicated systems live is also one of my all-time favorites. I consider Soko and BM as complementary to each other.
@yona97982 жыл бұрын
@@haggaisimon7748 yeah, they basically do something quite similar with almost opposite approaches.
This should be Billion Views... Thanks to the music reactors i found this gem.

I like how they push the boundaries within every single release, from what I see in this MV is that they've elongated the female vocal parts to be equal with the male one, while maintaining their characteristic blasting sound but this time it's enhanced with more melody and progressiveness vibe... like really Sokoninaru at their best xD Much love ♥ and been here since Tenohira de Odoru and stayed since ever xD Waiting for the entire album release though!

Auto-translate for this is a disgusting mess, so here you go: (* are Misaki's lines, but the alternating parts aren't 100% in order because Japanese is fun like that) Small joys buried between the days Eat away at my body even now No matter what I do, my assorted libidos won't stop Killing me Through the gaps *Of the dream I thought I desired I even caught a glimpse of myself *In pure ecstasy *In this repetetive emptiness Satisfaction is A frightening place *I cannot understand Whether I'm filling my belly with corpses *Or drowning in everlasting love My closure is swirling in a vortex I cannot have it Even so, without forgiveness Living and dying are both Too much to bear Small joys buried between the days Eat away at my body even now No matter what I obtain, one thirst can't be buried I doubt I'll ever have refreshment And yet, I can't help but yearn for it *Searching for the end of the universe *Even if it runs dry Before it reaches my throat *The times when I would choose To rip it open Those cruel days *Discard everything, leave it behind, and Truth, set free Small joys buried between the days Eat away at my body even now No matter what I obtain, one thirst can't be buried I doubt I'll ever have refreshment And yet, I can't help but yearn for it I cannot have it, I cannot have it, I cannot have it Amidst the karma I can't have Even though you forgot me, you believe in something and keep walking I cannot have it, I cannot have it, I cannot have it The joy that I can't have Is keeping me alive

TY for this. I haven't seen too many trranslations.... But I get the impression that some of their songs are rather existential.... Not that it matters much... To me it's all in the sound- and 98% clean vocals!. So much admiration. So much sound from just three people... and they sometime take turns! I Love, Love Love this band.
